When you open a page, the hosting infrastructure processes the data your browser transmits automatically: the requested address, date and time, the referring page, browser and operating system identification, and the IP address. This is technically necessary to deliver the page and to keep the service stable and secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in operating the site reliably. Log data is not merged with other sources and is deleted or shortened after a short retention period defined by the hosting provider ([Hosting provider]), acting as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR.

None. This website stores nothing on your device, uses no analytics or tracking service, shows no advertising, and contains no social-media plugins, embedded videos or comment widgets. There is consequently no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

All fonts, images and scripts are delivered from this site's own server. Web fonts are downloaded and bundled at build time, so your browser never contacts a font CDN or any other third-party host while viewing these pages.

If you write to us, the details in your message — including the contact data you provide — are stored for the purpose of handling your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We keep the correspondence until it is no longer needed, or until you ask us to delete it, subject to statutory retention obligations.

This website is separate from the game client and from the multiplayer server at https://server.vnv.live. Browsing these pages does not contact that server. When you later play online, the server processes an opaque device token (stored only as a hash) for guest play, or — if you choose to register — a username, a salted password hash, an optional e-mail address, your match results and your rating. That processing is described where you sign up, not here.

You have the right to information (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise any of them, contact the controller named above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
